Make no mistake: although they seem to be coming out of some episode of "Freak Show" - the fourth season of the American FX series " American Horror Story ", the following photos are real.
They are old portraits of artists with different disabilities and physical deformities, who exhibited themselves in circuses, and in the past were considered true aberrations.
In one of the photos you can find, even a woman completely tattooed, something considered super natural nowadays.
Funny as aesthetic standards and what is considered beautiful and acceptable in a year, it is considered ugly and not acceptable in another, and vice versa. It is best if you love and accept yourself;)
